You and your body are important parts of the solution.

Resmaa Menakem

In Body Psychotherapy, there is space for the body to convey that which words sometimes cannot.

I view the body as another way to process and share information. Working from this approach, we will collaboratively find ways to build awareness of your internal states, increase resilience, support self-regulation, and create new, adaptive behavioral patterns. Our work will be geared toward finding where your strengths have allowed you to thrive.

I will offer you therapeutic resources as well as practical tools so the work we do together is easily applicable to your daily life. Whether you or someone you know struggles with some of the issues listed below, setting up a consultation is a great first step towards deciding whether therapy is right for you.

My areas of focus:

Alcohol Use
Anxiety
Career Counseling
Coping Skills
Depression

Peer Relationships
Relationship Issues
Self Esteem
Stress
Women’s Issues

I use creative and alternative approaches to therapy as well as evidenced-based practices. We will use movement, writing, drawing, sound, breath, as well as tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solutions-Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and more.
